We are a group focusing on getting more comic artist's recognized. Panels, strips, no panels, square panels, anything that you use to create a comic, is good here. Traditional media, mixed media, digital media, visual communication, and applied businesses are also welcome. Hey, if you know any comic artists who need their work to be shown, this is the place to be.
The rules:
All comics are welcome here. However, it must be mature. (Appropriate for the group)
If comics contain violence, blood/gore, and strong language, be sure to put the mature content warning on them.
No yaoi, yuri, hentai, or any other of that stuff. It will not be permitted here.
Comics with OC's are welcome, just put them in the right folder, please.
Character references are welcome as well, this group will not only be filled with comic pages.
Be respectful of your fellow members. No "I hate this" or "Wow, you really suck" or "This is shit", If you are caught doing that, you're outta here.
If you have advice for the artists, don't over do it. Now, I'm more better at giving advice at drawn work than literature, but there are people out there who will either get upset about it or go all off on us for it. It's understandable, for they fear rejection as much as the next person. As a fellow artist, I've seen that happen before. So please, take a calm approach.
Remember: English was not the first language for everyone, please do not go off on them for their grammar, trust me, it causes trouble and can get out of hand.
If you have a comic in a different language, that's fine. Just be sure you have someone who can translate it for us, we would love to read it and know what the characters are trying to say.
No text language. This isn't facebook or twitter.
Examples of text language:
OMG, u luk so kewl Ur so aw sum I liek dis I luv u Y r u so mean 2 me Ur dum
No, man. Nuh uh. We don't need that in comics or in comments, just because you like using it, or you want to use it.
Is that okay? Unless you are a younger deviant, these rules should be easy enough to follow. Everyone starts off somewhere with comics and have their own special styles.
So, let's go comic artists! |
